ABOUT ME, MICHELE D. CAMERON (SHE/HER):
I am a Certified Leadership Coach, Consultant, Speaker, open water (scuba) diver, and lion tamer. I've held leadership and management positions in private and public sectors. Through the years, sparked by my personal and professional experiences, and my focus to influence a world so everyone feels valued and as though they belong regardless of their ability, socioeconomic status, race, religion, gender identity or sexual orientation , I became a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategist. I am also a Leadership and Engagement Specialist, and an HR Practitioner. I hold a Master of Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Business. I am a Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP) and a 2023 Graham YWCA Saskatoon Women of Distinction Recipient. I'm a life long learner and I continually challenge my mind and perspectives by opening it to new people, cultures and experiences. I live by and believe that anything is possible, authenticity is everything, and that we are stronger than we think. I know that I was placed on this earth to connect, inspire and engage so I do so authentically, compassionately and with a fervour that's my own. I live fiercely in the YXE (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada) on Treaty 6 territory and the Homeland of the Métis, as defined by my rules. I have a career I love, professional and personal relationships that will continue for many more years, and I'm clear on why I'm on this earth.
